Dickens of a Christmas Afternoon Tea at 1 Memphis St.

About this event

Step into a Dickens Christmas! 🎄🫖✨

Join us for a Victorian Christmas Afternoon Tea at 1 Memphis Street —an afternoon filled with tea, music, sweets, tradition, and a little old-fashioned Christmas magic.

The festivities begin with an aerial performance by Stars in Motion and a musical performance by Opera Memphis , followed by a traditional Afternoon Tea featuring finger sandwiches, teas, and tisanes from Tea & Tisanes and beautiful sweet treats from Sweet Serendipity Cakes .

Kara Brown Smith will take us back to the Victorian era with a delightful look at the etiquette and customs of the time.

For an afternoon, 1 Memphis Street becomes a little piece of Dickensian Christmas—where the tea is poured, the tables are set, and old-world holiday charm comes to life.

🎄 Open to all ages 🚪 Doors open at 11:30 AM 🫖 Afternoon Tea begins promptly at 12:00 noon

Come dressed in your Christmas best—or add a little Victorian flair—and make this Hernando holiday tradition part of your Christmas season.
